I'm sitting here in one of my favorite Chiang Mai coffee shops editing a couple million images from the SE Asian Rustic Pathways (RP) photography crew and drinking a strong cup of Hill Tribe coffee. It's incredibly hard for me to believe that I only have one week left before I jet home, I have to pinch myself just to make sure its real. I've had to do that a lot this summer, each RP trip I was sent on had amazing moments where I would have to sit back, put my camera down for a moment and just appreciate being in that exact moment at that exact time. It's funny how the body adapts so easily to changes in life. Last week I was bobbing up and down on the back of an elephant through the Thai jungle and I felt like it was a moment from the movie: The King and I. Off in front of us, an elephant trumpet and I smiled at how familiar that sound was (even tho it still gives me chills).
These images are from a trip that traveled all over Cambodia with 25 RP students. Phnome Penh-->Otres Beach-->Mondulkiri--Krachie-->Kompongcham-->Siem Reap.
