West

Heading West

With my car shoved full of my every belonging and pointed toward the West, I am finally saying "so long" to Western Kentucky University and a ton of good friends and memories. I am making the 24hr drive to New Mexico and my family, from there I will jump on a plane to S. Korea where I will be living over the next year. And I can't wait!
But before that, road trip!

Home

I made a quick trip back to Indiana this weekend to drop off boxes of stuff that I wont be using for the next few years and to spend some time with my sister and her husband and the cutest baby in the whole world. I received a warm slobbering welcome from KC, a couple new playful bruises from Elisha, and fell absolutely in love with Rylan, the little charmer.

Fair Commotion

I've been working with WKU's high school photojournalism workshop this past week hauling 29 kids to all kinds of exotic places (like the county fair and water park) to hone their young photographic genius. Below are some are some of our fun discoveries.

I also discovered suspicious klan activities in the 4H barn. Everyone thinks I've jumped off the deep end but I swear when I first saw these sheep I couldn't stop laughing at the crazy klanish sheep fashion. Apparently I am the only person in this part of the U.S. who has never seen sheep dressed in white sheets with holes poked out for their eyes.

Sorce Wedding

These past weeks I've been posing as a mad wedding photographer, acting as the second shooter to Inge Hooker. It's been mushy, tense, soggy, lovely, happy and hilarious all at once. Here are some images from the first wedding I ever shot.
